For students preparing to finalize their degree and graduate, the college recommends following the graduation checklist to be sure all graduation activities are completed.

In addition, preparing to graduate must complete the following: 
 

1. Filing to graduate: this lets the college and Registrar's Office know you completed all coursework and will no longer be enrolling in courses
2. Register for commencement: for students who would like to participate in the college commencement ceremonies, with qualifying completed units 
3. Receipt of diploma: students can opt to pick up diplomas or have them mailed at a specified address 
4. Education Verification: requests can be made through the Registrar's Office once a student has filed to graduate 

 Note: filing to graduate does not simultaneously register a student to participate in commencement ceremonies
