Dr. De Oliveira is an Animal Scientist specialized in Ruminant Nutrition. She received her B.S in Animal Science from the Federal University of Lavras, followed by a M.S. in Forage management and a Ph.D in Ruminant Nutrition and Production from the State University of Sao Paulo, Botucatu, BR. Her research primarily focuses on modeling the nutrient requirements of dairy cattle and mitigating methane emissions. She has a keen interest in using mathematical modeling to integrate nutrition and physiology, aiming to achieve sustainable ruminant production systems on a global scale.
