You belong here.

At UC Davis, we believe that every person in our community deserves to thrive and feel welcomed. The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences takes that ethos to heart. In the spirit of our Principles of Community, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming educational and research environment for students, staff, faculty and the broader community. We are guided by the Chancellor’s strategic vision outlined in the campus plan, “To Boldly Go,” and by the UC Davis Principles of Community, where we cultivate a space of learning, growth and respect. Our work is dynamic, continuous and responsive to the change and the experiences of the people in our college, our community, in California and beyond. We developed this website to provide a resource for those seeking guidance and best practices for further developing a sense of community on campus, in classrooms, laboratories, at work and through their social spaces. Our Principles of Community Council is here to guide us in making sure that every voice is heard, each opinion and perspective considered. As dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, I encourage you to join me and others in this space.

Welcome!
