Meet our 2024-2025 Officers
Samantha Blunt
Communications Coordinator
Hi there! My name is Samantha Blunt (she/her/hers) and I'm a third year Animal Science major here at UC Davis. Originally from Fresno, CA, I was happy to move up north and get away from the central valley heat! I am one of the Communications Coordinators for Aggie Ambassadors. I wanted to become an officer because Aggie Ambassadors reminded me of Future Farmers of America (FFA), an organization that I also hold dear to my heart due to my involvement in high school. I pride myself on making impactful change on the lives of others, and as an officer I hope to do just that. My hobbies consist of listening to music, journaling, and drawing. A fun fact about me is that I've seen the original Starry Night at the New York MoMA!
Ali Arias
Class Coordinator
Hi All! My name is Ali Arias (she/her/hers), and I am a Class Coordinator for Aggie Ambassadors this year. I'm a third-year International Agricultural Development and Chicano Studies major, and I am originally from Julian, CA! I'm excited to meet and interact with our new and returning members this year. I am proud to represent UC Davis and the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. In my free time, I like reading, cooking, thrifting, watching movies, and listening to music!
Eric Dominguez
Outreach and Events Coordinator
Hi everyone! My name is Eric Dominguez (he/him/his) and I am a third year at UC Davis in the Agricultural and Environmental Education major. I am from a small town called Reedley located in the Central Valley near Fresno, CA! This year I am one of the Outreach and Events Coordinators and I chose to become an officer to develop my leadership skills by being a part of the officer team but also to help make connections with everyone in Aggie Ambassadors! My hobbies include listening to music, collecting vinyls, cooking and working with animals! A fun fact about me is that I am bilingual in English and Spanish but also I have taken classes to learn German and Japanese!
Gabriel Mojica-Palafox
Outreach and Events Coordinator
Hey y'all! My name is Gabriel Mojica-Palafox (he,him, his), and I am in my second year as an Animal Science major here at UC Davis. Though having originally lived in Salinas, CA for the majority of my life, I recently have moved up north to Corning, CA. This year I am serving as one of the three Outreach and Events Coordinators for Aggie Ambassadors. I chose to become an officer to further increase my involvement within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, as well as to fulfill my duties as an officer and make meaningful connections with recurring/new members alike. My hobbies include binging shows, singing, and music overall. A fun fact about me is that I am a part of the UCD Marching Band!
Reena Grewal
Member Relations and Workshops
Hey everyone! My name is Reena Grewal (she/her/hers), and I’m a second year Animal Science major with a Global Disease Biology minor here at UC Davis. I’m originally from Livingston, CA—a small town in the Central Valley. This year, I am serving as one of the Member Relations and Workshops Officers. I chose to become an officer because of my experience in Aggie Ambassadors fall quarter of my first year. The opportunities for community, outreach, and leadership are something I hope to uphold this year (and continuously improve)! Some of my hobbies include kayaking, hiking, binging shows, watching new movies, and embroidery! A fun fact about me is that I’m also a Barn Resident at the UC Davis Swine Teaching and Research Center.
Dara Farnoush
Member Relations and Workshops
Hi y'all's! My name is Dara Farnoush (he/him) and I am a second year Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning and Economics double major here at UC Davis. I am from Tustin, California and joined Aggie Ambassadors in my first quarter because I wanted to be more involved with the community at Davis. I decided to be an officer and get more involved with Aggie Ambassadors in a leadership role because I had a blast being a member and wanted to do more so I took on the role of Member Relations and Workshops Coordinators along with Reena. I enjoy reading, playing card and board games with my friends, and going to the beach. A fun fact about me is that I am trilingual (Farsi, English, and French) and am working on Spanish.
Milo Alvarez
Outreach and Events Coordinator
Hi My name is Milo Alvarez (He/Him) and I am a Second Year Animal Science Major and one of the Outreach and Events Coordinators for the Aggie Ambassador. I am from Los Angeles California and have thoroughly enjoyed moving up to Davis and my time at UC Davis. I chose UC Davis because it has given me an opportunity to study Avian Sciences which has always been a passion of mine. Along the way I have begun to really enjoy representing Aggie Ambassadors as well as the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences as a whole and choose to become an officer so I could have an even greater impact on outreach towards current and prospective students. Some of my favorite hobbies include attending concerts, photography, and hiking. A fun fact about me is I am incredibly afraid of heights. They've always been my biggest fear and it will probably stay that way forever.
Karlee Klemm
Communications Coordinator
Hey everyone! My name is Karlee Klemm (she/her/hers) and I’m a second year Plant Science major from San Diego, California. This year I will be one of your Communications Coordinators! I joined Aggie Ambassadors in the Fall of my first year at UC Davis and I have met some of the greatest friends and mentors. I wanted to apply to be an officer so I could connect with the members and nurture a welcoming environment just like the environment I joined my fall quarter. Some of my hobbies include photography, creating amazing playlists, and embroidery. A fun fact about me is that I’ve received my American Degree through FFA!
Regan Dodero
Class Coordinator
Hi everybody! My name is Regan Dodero (she/her/hers) and I am a second year animal science major here at UC Davis. I am from Whittier, California, which is about 30 minutes south of LA. This year, I have the pleasure of serving as one of the Class Coordinators for Aggie Ambassadors. I decided to become an officer so that I could try to help build connections with members and make them feel important, just like the officers did for me last year. I also hope to be able to learn more about our college while helping teach others about how great it is. Some of my hobbies include reading, building puzzles, playing board games, dressing up my dog, and anything theater related. A fun fact about me is that I have a collection of over one-hundred Funko Pop Figures.
